can we take a minute to look at Snow White?

she is GORGEOUS.

this animation is BEAUTIFUL.

this film was the first FULL-LENGTH ANIMATED feature to EVER be made and released to theaters.

I don’t care if you don’t like her character- she was modeled after the FAIRY TALE character, so she’s not going to be too developed.

The movie was based on the Grimm’s Fairy tale, where no one really had much of a character. So don’t blame Disney for the first princess and her movie to not be modern and feminist enough for your tastes because the movie came out in 1937.

I’m sick of hearing people talk about Snow White and her movie like it’s her fault that modern gender roles are brought to the light in the film.
